: The National Board of Examinations (NBE) has opened the registration for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Postgraduate (NEET PG) 2024 on Tuesday, April 16, 2024. How to register for the NEET PG 2024 examination?

NEET PG aspirants can follow the step-by-step guide provided below to register for the NEET PG 2024 examination:

• Visit the Official Website: Go to the National Board of Examinations (NBE) official website - natboard.edu.in or nbe.edu.in.
• Create an Account: If you are a new user, create an account by clicking on the 'New User Registration' or 'Apply' link. You will need to provide details like your name, email address, phone number, and create a password.
• Login to Your Account: If you already have an account or after you have created one, log in using your credentials.
• Fill Out the Application Form: Complete the application form by entering your personal information, educational qualifications, and any other required details.
• Upload Required Documents: Upload the necessary documents such as a recent photograph, signature, MBBS degree certificate, internship completion certificate, and any other required certifications. Ensure these documents meet the specified guidelines for size and format.
• Choose Your Exam City: Select your preferred city for taking the examination. It’s advisable to choose a city that you can reach easily on the exam day.
• Pay the Registration Fee: Make the payment for the registration fee via the available online payment methods. The fee must be paid to complete the registration process.
• Review Your Application: Double-check all the information and documents submitted to ensure accuracy. This is crucial as incorrect information can lead to the rejection of your application.

NEET PG 2024 Admit Card

NEET PG 2024 admit cards will be released on June 18, 2024. Only candidates who have successfully completed the application process will receive the NEET PG 2024 admit cards. To download the admit card, candidates need to log in using their application ID and password at the official NBEMS website.

NEET PG 2024 examination will be conducted in a single day & single session as a computer-based examination on June 23, 2024. The examination shall be a multiple choice questions test delivered using computers network (CBT) as per scheme prescribed.

The NEET PG exam consists of 200 multiple-choice questions, each with four answer options, and is conducted in English. Candidates need to choose the best answer from the options given. The total time allowed for the exam is 3 hours and 30 minutes. There is a penalty of 25% negative marking for each incorrect answer, but no marks are deducted for questions left unanswered.

For candidates to get accustomed to the computer-based test format, a NEET PG mock test will be available on the website natboard.edu.in starting around June 10, 2024.

About NEET PG Examination

NEET-PG serves as the unified entrance exam required for admission into various MD/MS and PG Diploma courses. Eligible candidates must hold an MBBS degree or a Provisional MBBS Pass Certificate recognized under the NMC Act, 2019 or the former Indian Medical Council Act of 1956.

Additionally, candidates should have either a permanent or provisional MBBS registration certificate issued by the NMC, the former Medical Council of India, or a State Medical Council. They must also have completed or be expected to complete one year of internship by the specified cut-off date for the admission session in question, as outlined in the information bulletin.
